Stealth Communications is seeking multiple postdoctoral researchers to advance our quantum-secure communication protocols and systems, at the intersection of post-quantum and quantum cryptography. This role combines theoretical research and practical experimentation on Stealth's quantum optical testbed (~5000 km: land + subsea assets), pushing the boundaries of cryptographic innovation.This position requires security clearance and is based onsite in Pensacola, FL.Qualifications:Required: An active, transferable TSSCI CI Poly U.S. government-issued security clearance prior to commencement.PhD in Quantum Cryptography, Quantum Information Theory, or a closely related field.5 years post-doctoral experience in a competitive quantum cryptographyinformation research group.Deep expertise in lattice-based cryptography, advanced encryption, and signature schemes.Working knowledge of semi-definite programming and numerical optimization techniques.Experience with fine-grained cryptography and impossibility results.Experience in designing and analyzing homomorphic, attribute-based, functional encryption, and signature schemes (e.g., ring, group, threshold).Published research in -depth knowledge of TCPIP.Proficiency in C++ and ASM programming.Advanced technical knowledge in application and hardware security.Strongly preferred: -- Advanced technical knowledge in Electromagnetism and quantum algorithmsmaterials.-- Experience with quantum optics and laboratory apparatus, including SPDC entanglement sources, single-photon detectors, and Bell-state measurement systems.-- Expertise in low and room temperature qubit measurements, including MKS systems.-- Proficiency in cryogenics, lithography, and fiber optics.Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) for advanced quantum systems.Familiarity with NSTISSAM TEMPEST1-92 and CNSSAM TEMPEST01-02 specifications.Effectively communicate technical and non-technical information verbally and in writing to diverse audiences.Responsibilities:Conduct advanced research in lattice-based cryptography, focusing on its potential to secure quantum communications and resist quantum attacks.Design, implement, and analyze cryptographic protocols using non-standard lattice assumptions, ensuring they meet the highest security standards.Lead the integration of cryptographic primitives into Stealth's Quantum Framework, optimizing for security and efficiency.Prototype, test, and deploy lattice-based cryptographic solutions in operational quantum environments.Collaborate with academia, cryptographers, and auditors to validate and refine cutting-edge cryptographic methods.Implement cryptography specifications into secure, production-level code within the Quantum Framework.Provide expert support for the integration of quantum-resistant protocols across Stealth's technology stack.Document research findings, code, and APIs thoroughly, contributing to the academic and practical discourse on quantum-resistant cryptography.Capable of independent work and collaboration within a diverse and multidisciplinary team, including scientists, engineers, business professionals, and ex-military personnelThis role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge advancements in quantum cryptography and secure communications technology for land, subsea, and space operations using Stealth's internal assets.Salary starting at $250,000 + Sign-On Bonus of $250,000.
