This role is critical to the daily operations of our laboratory, where you will conduct a variety of complex tests to support patient diagnosis and treatment. We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of laboratory science, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to providing precise and reliable results. Qualifications of a Medical Technician: Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MT/MLS) or equivalent certification (e.g., MLT, CLS, or MT/MLS ASCP). Certification must be achieved within 9 months after hire date. Proficiency in performing a variety of laboratory tests and operating laboratory equipment. Responsibilities of a Medical Technician: Perform a wide range of laboratory tests, including hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology, and molecular diagnostics. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols to ensure accuracy and precision in test performance. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform routine maintenance as needed. Analyze test results, interpret findings, and report data accurately and efficiently.
