Primary Responsibilities: • Perform and review calculations related to stormwater management, potable water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection and transmission. • Prepare detailed specifications and drawings for land development projects, including roadways, water, sewer, and drainage systems. • Design and plan infrastructure for land development, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. • Prepare and process permits through various applicable agencies. • Collaborate effectively with clients, fellow engineers, CAD drafters, and other disciplines. • Generate site construction cost estimates. • Review, correct, and approve shop drawings and material specifications. • Attend and actively participate in meetings with clients and internal staff. • Deliver project technical documents to meet project requirements. • Maintain a high level of organization and technical competency throughout all project phases. • Provide construction inspection services and support. • Process certification and ensure permit closeout through all applicable agencies. Software Proficiency: • AutoCAD Civil 3D • I.C.P.R. (Preferred) • A.S.A.D. (Preferred) • Microsoft Project, Excel, and other standard Microsoft Office applications Position Requirements: • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (B.S.C.E) or an equivalent degree from an ABET accredited university. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development projects. • Must hold a valid Florida Professional Engineer License (REQUIRED). • Candidates with an Engineering In Training (EIT) certificate will be considered. Location: Boca Raton or Port St Lucie office
