General Summary Under the direction of the Vice President Sales/Marketing, this position will sell all of Haag services, by locating and generating leads, building client relationships, provide business development and account management in their prospective regions to the insurance industry, attorney, oil & gas, risk management, contractors, architects, manufacturers, etc. Define, negotiate and close business relationships. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: RESPONSIBILITIES Assist VP of Sales and Marketing in handling national accounts as delegated. Generate new business leads through networking, attending trade shows, researching and using internet tools. Schedule and meet weekly sales goals to include in-person, phone calls, emails, and client visits. Coordinate public relations efforts with professional associations and organizations to maintain visibility in the local marketplace. Act as liaison between operations group and client to resolve issues/concerns, set up meetings, inspections etc. Communicate with management and operations staff the results of sales efforts and strategies. Define national marketing strategies in accordance with Haag's vision. Attend and actively participate in meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments. Meet individual goals and team sales targets. Inquisitively gather information to make best assessments of leads, client's needs, trends, or market data. Travel 50% + of the time overnight to meet job essential duties. This role is remote, but you must reside in Ohio. QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field required. At least five years of experience in business development or sales may substitute degree. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Proven sales track record of over-achieving goals including sales goals. Previous experience managing large territory accounts. Experience selling and marketing directly to insurance companies and or law firms is a must. Experience as an independent third-party adjuster working with multiple carriers is a plus, but not required. Solid computer skills; Proficient in MS Office (Word, excel and Power Point). Excellent written and verbal communication skills (concisely and clearly). Sharp interpersonal skills demonstrating ability to present, prospect clients, and close deals. execute multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills and ability to shift priorities readily are critical Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high degree of productivity. Customer relationship management CRM software "”Salesforce experience a plus. Database management experience. Web platform software knowledge.
