To learn more please visit . Position Summary: This exempt, full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM) is within the Fisher BioServices business unit of Thermo Fisher Scientific. The Pharmacist III position is within the NCI-CR government contract which include blinded and open-label operations tasks. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide support to NCI sponsored open-label and blinded clinical trials Print, label, check, and pack clinical orders Approve biological and dangerous good shipping requests Maintain records and files such as dispensing logs, perpetual inventory profiles Receive drug supplies and maintain its inventory in the AURORA system Identify dangerous and/or infectious agents and ensure the existence of their SDSs Ability to navigate AURORA including downloading and queries Check "Returns" paperwork for accuracy Supervise pharmacy technicians as needed Perform auxiliary labeling Participate in the on-call program Follow, advise, and assist in implementation of the faciliy's cGMP, and Environment Health and Safety Provide support on acquiring required licenses to operate the repository Maintain protocols and literature for double-blinded agents Check Fedex system for all shipment delays Assist with the preparation of the monthly report and assigned tasks Basic Minimum Qualifications: The qualifications listed below are representative of knowledge, skill and/or ability. To perform this job successfully, an individual must to complete each essential duty. BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree Licensed in Maryland Intermediate computer skills (Windows, Excel, and Word) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of 21 CFR parts 210 and 211 Work Conditions/Physical Requirements: Use personal protective equipment and adhere to safety protocols. Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Use a computer up to 6 hours per day. Able to work in a cold and warehouse/repository environment.
