Lead Project Manager (CRISPR Therapeutics)This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading biotech company delivering next generation CRISPR products. The PM will manage growing CRISPR based Therapeutics programs being brought to market. Ideal candidates will have experience with planning, oversight, and management of projects, collaborating with technical teams, service providers and strategic partners. As the Lead PM, you will partner with the Program Technical Lead to coordinate deliverables to ensure project commitments are met.Responsibilities:Collaborate with Technical Lead, as well as cross-functional team members, to establish a development strategy ensuring synergy between strategic and operational activitiesDevelop and execute project plans by coordinating with operations across various functional areasManage project teams through resource planning, timeline development, risk management, finance, and budget planningDesign, communicate and implement project plans in Smartsheet to ensure projects are completed on time and within budgetMonitor progress of projects against plan; define and collect metrics to track progress and measure key deliverablesHighlight risks and lead problem-solving, contingency planning, and decision-making to resolve and minimize impact of risksproblemsCommunicate information and updates to internal and external stakeholders throughout the project durationEnsure senior management approval of changes to scope, budget or timelinesRequirements and Desired Experience:Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Bioengineering, Chemistry or a similar scientific discipline; Master's degree a plus5+ years of project management experience in the life sciences industryStrong understanding of pharmaceutical product development phases (early stage to INDCTA) and the role that different functions playExperience with project management tools (MS Project, SmartSheet, etc.), advanced Excel abilitiesProven project or program management experience within the biotechpharma industry; experience managing projects within GeneTherapy andor Gene Editing preferredCertification (PMP or similar) andor formal training in Project Management is preferredExcellent communication skills; able to lead cross functional teams and effectively communicate to key stakeholders and senior leadershipProven ability to establish, maintain, and lead high performing project teams Able to hold team members and vendors accountable to execute on time and within budgetKnowledgeable of regulatory deliverables in Europe and U.S.Highly organized and process drivenAbility to operate in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary biotech environmentSix-sigma green belt certification with practical experience of implementation is a plusCompensation: $160k - $175k annual salary
