Fiber Technician / Labor

Stealth Communications seeks multiple Fiber TechniciansLaborers to join our expanding team in North Brunswick, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for running, splicing, and repairing fiber optic cables, installing conduits, and performing road repairs. You'll gain hands-on experience working alongside seasoned technicians. We are looking for dependable, eager individuals who are ready to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.This position does not require security clearance and is based onsite in North Brunswick, NJ. Primary area of Operations: New York CityResponsibilitiesInstall and maintain fiber optic cables through underground systemsAssist in splicing and cable repairPerform installation tasks, including fastening cabling and installing panelsMaintain workspaces and shop buildingsWork in confined spacesOperate construction equipment, tools, and materialsInstallation of conduits, digging, asphalting, and minor road repairsProvide excellent customer service during installationsQualificationsValid driver's license with a satisfactory driving recordMust have reliable transportation to workMust be able to have a flexible scheduleAbility to work in personal protective equipment in all weather conditionsPhysical ability to climb, kneel, stoop, lift up to 50 lbs, and work off a ladderAbility to distinguish fiber optic cable colorsExperience preferred but not required; we provide full trainingPreference for those with previous field leadership experienceBenefitsPaid sick and vacation daysHealth insurance with dental and vision options401(k) with annual raisesHands-on training and room for growth within the companyIf you are a team-oriented individual with a positive attitude and a desire to learn, we encourage you to apply.
