The Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for overseeing the overall success of all food and beverage operations within the hotel, including banquets, catering, restaurants, bars, in-room dining, club lounges, and minibars. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless transitions and achieve budgeted financial results.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and lead food and beverage operations to ensure excellent guest experiencesSupport and develop management and hourly staffDevelop and implement an operating strategy aligned with the hotel's business goalsManage menus, inventory, and expenses to ensure profitabilityCoordinate with sales and events teams to meet group requirementsSchedule and manage staff to meet business demands and budgetDrive revenue growth through effective sales strategiesParticipate in marketing meetings and creative programming initiativesCollaborate with leadership to improve guest satisfaction scores and address areas for improvementContribute to budgeting processes and P&L reviewsMaintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service at all timesRecruit, train, and develop food and beverage staffConduct performance evaluations and handle disciplinary actions when necessaryRequirements:Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury hospitality settingBeverage certification preferredSupervisory, coaching, and staff development experienceStrong written, verbal, and communication skills in EnglishFlexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidaysAbility to lift up to 40 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistanceAbility to stand, walk, write, lift, bend, climb, hear, see, and perform repetitive motionsMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
