Product Engineer Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) Job Overview: TalentBridge is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Product Engineer to design and develop industrial equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing equipment, as well as ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Responsibilities: Perform mechanical and process calculations to design industrial equipment, including but not limited to pumps, compressors, valves, heat exchangers, tanks, and other industrial machinery. Use engineering software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ANSYS, to create 3D models and conduct simulations and tests on the equipment design. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, sales, and customer service, to ensure product design meets customer requirements and company standards. Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to other team members. Stay current with industry trends and technology advancements, and suggest innovative solutions to improve product design and performance. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards. Identify and evaluate cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and other methods. Support the production and quality control processes by providing technical expertise and guidance. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in product engineering, with a focus on designing industrial equipment. Proficient in engineering software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, and other relevant tools. Strong knowledge of industry standards, such as ASME, API, and ISO. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines. Experience with equipment design, analysis, and validation is a plus. Experience with project management and new product development processes is a plus. #LI-TJ1
