Technical Services Specialist - High Performing Doors

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Tech Services Specialist to join our High Performance Doors team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for our high-performance door solutions, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, electrical systems, and software * Provide technical support to customers and internal teams on high-performance door solutions, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance* Occasionally perform on-site visits to diagnose and resolve technical issues with high-performance doors and related systems* Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical issues and implement solutions* Log calls related to customer inquiries, technical issues, or service requests in a timely and accurate manner using our CRM system* If site visit is required develop and maintain detailed reports of work performed, including documentation of issues, repairs, and maintenance activities* Stay up-to-date with new technologies and products in the high-performance door industry, staying ahead of the curve in terms of technical knowledge and skills* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding their expectations* Collaborate with the operations team to optimize door performance, reducing downtime and improving overall efficiency* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to high-performance doors, including mechanical, electrical, and software components* Work closely with design engineers to develop new products and improve existing onesQualifications* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field* 3+ years of experience in a technical role related to high-performance doors or similar mechanical/electrical systems* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and software integration* Experience with automation systems and controls preferred* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams* Ability to work at heights (up to 50 feet) and in confined spaces (as required)* Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting up to 50 pounds (as required)* Valid driver's license (if applicable)**Nice-to-Have:*** Experience with CAD design software (e.g. AutoCAD)* Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations (e.g. ASME, NFPA)* Familiarity with commissioning and testing procedures for high-performance doors**What We Offer:*** Competitive salary and benefits package* Opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic industry* Collaborative team environment with a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction* Flexible working hours (with occasional overtime as required)If you are a motivated and experienced technical professional looking for a new challenge, please submit your application today!
