We are looking to add a LVT to our talented Emergency department! Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts Overnights and swings Available! Overnights: 8p - 8a (shift differential) 11pm-7am Swing: 2pm-2am Swing: 6pm-4am Schedule would NOT be a combination of days and overnights unless requested. Compensation: $28 - $36 pending skills assessment leveling Shift Differential M-TH Overnights: Base + $4 F-Su Overnight: Base + $6 Sa/Su Days: Base + $4 Common Skills used within ER as an LVT: Venipuncture & IV catheter placement Triage & Assess patients/obtain vitals. Critical thinking Providing nursing care/monitoring to hospitalized patients. Anesthesia, Surgery prep, Patient recovery Running in-house lab testing & use of Cubex Filling prescriptions/Dispensing oral and iv medications. Drug administration. Radiographs Provide client education! ECG monitoring Advanced CPR RECOVER certification provided for all employees. Advanced skills include (but are not limited to): Central lines Placing urinary catheters Placing nasogastric tubes Placing nasal cannulas Maintaining indwelling tubes (chest tube, feeding tube) Blood transfusions About You: We're looking for candidates who embody excellence and dedication.
