Clinical Laboratory Scientist Job Description As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will perform waived, moderate complexity, and high complexity testing on patient specimens. You will correlate and interpret data utilizing your critical thinking skills and knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments. Your role is crucial in teaching and training students, new employees, and residents/medical students. You will effectively manage problem resolution, equipment maintenance, reagent preparation, and test result data entry. You are expected to successfully and timely complete all required competency assessments, adjust to fluctuating workloads, perform quality control procedures with thorough documentation, handle corrective actions appropriately, and meticulously document out-of-control situations with details, results, and corrective actions taken. You will also follow procedures, perform, and document instrument maintenance.
