Licensed Clinician All Locations - CT, NY, NJ, MA Summary: Mountainside Treatment Center is a leading behavioral health and addiction treatment center. With locations in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, we are always seeking top talent and looking for highly motivated, qualified, Licensed Clinicians to join our treatment team. Full Time, Part Time, and Per Diem schedules are open for consideration at our following locations. Canaan, CT - Detox, Residential, and Outpatient Services Wilton, CT - Outpatient Services Chappaqua, NY - Outpatient Services Huntington, NY - Outpatient Services Ramsey, NJ - Outpatient Services Virtual Outpatient Services in CT, NY, NJ, and MA - Outpatient Services (applicates must reside in one of these states) About the Position: Our Clinicians play a crucial role in the treatment process, facilitating the intake process, individual therapy, group therapy, and various assessments, while ensuring a smooth transition for clients into our care. Clinicians are responsible for Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary treatment team and various key stakeholders, such as: Family Members, Primary Care Physicians, Psychiatrists, Intensive Outpatient programs, Legal Aids, Family Interventionists, University and High School Administrative Staff, and Employee Assistance Program Representatives as needed, to create an individualized recovery experience that incorporates the body, mind, and spirit of each client. Schedule: Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities available. Please indicate your availability and schedule preferences in your application. Your Role: Work with our client population to conduct comprehensive intake assessments, provide individual and group therapy, family treatment, case management and crisis intervention, utilizing best practices that are evidence based and research informed. Complete various forms, assessments, and wellness plans during the treatment process. Create a comprehensive and collaborative wellness plan, including referrals to Family Wellness Program, Psychiatric Services, etc. Utilize identified screening/assessment tools, stage-wise interventions and treatment models. Create a plan which considers the housing and therapeutic needs of the client to sustain or continue to develop a program of recovery. Understand group dynamics/processes and facilitate group therapy with a focus on integrated care and documents efforts via individualized progress notes. Review and update client's collaborative integrated wellness plan in a timely fashion. Coordinate drug and alcohol testing with identified parties, with proper documentation and next seps outlined. Collaborate and contact client's stakeholders such as emergency contacts, family members and referral sources as applicable. Communicate and coordinate treatment planning with referents and family members as clinically indicated. Role model, explain and encourage pro-social behaviors such as: time management, appropriate language, dress and the importance of building fellowships. Maintain clinical chart in accordance with agency and accreditation standards. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all intake documentation within required timeframes. Educate clients on the treatment process and available services at Mountainside. Uphold ethical and professional standards in accordance with licensing requirements. Qualifications: Master's Degree in a Relatable Field, License Eligible. Required Holds a valid clinical license in the state of practice, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Strongly Preferred Experience in conducting intake assessments and knowledge of addiction treatment protocols. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must have basic computer skills including competence in software applications such as Microsoft Office suite, Adobe and use of internet applications and in using and/or connecting wireless computer hardware, the ability to project to remote devices, etc. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Attention to detail and proficiency in documentation. Awareness and sensitivity to addiction, socioeconomics and strong cultural competency. Strong oral and written communication Excellent organization and time management skills Compensation : The base salary for this position is $70,000 to $100,000 per year. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
