Eli Lilly and Company seeks an Associate Dir., Automation Engineering to establish and maintain systems to ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, an qualified status of automation systems and process equipment. Ensure that systems and equipment are in control, compliant, and capable of meeting plant production needs. Support and peer review root cause analysis around equipment and operational events. Establish control systems to monitor, trend, and verify equipment performance and downtime. Identify and optimize unit operation cycle time, yield performance, loop tuning, and recipes. Manage a team of automation engineers providing Front Line automation engineering support. Serve as subject matter expert in one or more disciplines and provide technical and leadership guidance to engineer team, while also understanding the business impact and drivers outside of the business area. #LI-DNI Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and 3 years of pro-industrial experience including 3 years of experience in cGMP environment. Experience must include a minimum of: 3 years of experience in data analytics tools to monitor manufacturing processes, reduce cost, and meet data integrity compliance requirements; 3 years of experience with development and technical analysis of large-scale initiatives (secondary loop projects) including productivity improvements, new product introduction, capacity development, data analysis, data integrity, GMP remediation, and safety and environmental risk mitigation; 3 years of experience with lifecycle management of automation assets, reliability of automation assets, and continuous improvement automation systems to ensure operational automation control systems are appropriate and implemented; and 2 years of experience with investigation, root cause analysis, CAPA implementation, and change management. 5% domestic and international travel required. #LI-DNI Job location: Branchburg, NJ.
