Your Impact: We are seeking for Systems Engineer, Full Performance to support its federal client in Northern VA. The ideal candidate will have: Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities: Using a holistic approach, designs, develops, evaluates and modifies end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle. Generates quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics. Ensures requirements comply with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods. Translates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with other engineering disciplines to develop lower level detailed implementation requirements. Establishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overall product development. Designs interfaces and brings system elements together so they work as a whole. Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Customer liaison and support for business development activities and to understand and shape requirements. Participates in system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts. Translates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with multi-discipline engineering teams to develop lower level detailed requirements. Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation. Generates system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures. Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements and participates in the testing process to validate requirements. #JENGA #divergent Here's what you'll need : -Bachelors and 3 years, or 7 years' experience -Must have TS/SCI++ clearance Experience: Applying different project management models (e.g. Spiral, Waterfall, Agile) on development effort; -Analyzing, designing, developing, deploying, and providing lifecycle support for innovative hardware systems and applications. -Performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, cost estimation, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. -Managing software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. -Estimating software development costs and schedule. Review existing programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improve current techniques. -Developing analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solutions. -Performing strategic systems planning, business information planning, business, and analysis. -Applying business process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies and principles and business process modernization projects. Knowledge -Design techniques, tools, and principles. -Knowledge of the Intelligence Community. -Project Management concepts and principles. -Project planning and management skills, including scope of work, time estimation, and resource assignment. -Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts/theories for various projects. -Technology Design, including generating or adapting equipment and technology to serve user needs. -Systems Analysis and determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes. -Operations Analysis and analyzing needs and product requirements to create a design.
