Make a Difference With supervision from a Neurologist, The END technologist plays an essential role in the diagnosis of brain diseases (such as epilepsy or stroke), injury and tumors. The END technologist performs these diagnostic tests with an instrument that records brain waves. The END technologist attaches electrodes to specific areas of the patient's head to measure differences in the amplitude and frequency of electrical potentials between various parts of the brain. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Graduate of an accredited END program required. Registered or certified in Neuro-Diagnostic Testing, or eligible per ABRET (Neuro-diagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation) END Exam Eligibility Requirements. Completion of recording, ASET CEUs, and documented EEGs prior to start date, required. Must be Certified Registered EEG T. within one year of obtaining role, required. Must demonstrate competence performing neuro-diagnostic procedures Ability to work independently without close supervision Ability to act in good judgment in decision-making responsibilities Must have the ability to work with patients of all ages, ranging from neonates to elderly adults Basic knowledge of computers useful Why Community?
