Job Description The University of Michigan is looking to hire medical technologist that will be working in their Pathology department. You must be ASCP (The American Society for Clinical Pathology) certified in order to be considered. The job is temp-to-perm after 90 days of working there. Shift vary.... Responsibilities: Perform duties inclusive of an LT (Laboratory Technician) ```{=html} ``` - Perform high complexity testing ```{=html} ``` - Process incoming samples ```{=html} ``` - Analyze and record quality control materials ```{=html} ``` - Identify problems using their instrumentations ```{=html} ``` - Monitor instrument error codes ```{=html} ``` - Perform analysis on data output ```{=html} ``` - Maintain a safe work area/ adhere to all safety precautions Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science or other biological science ```{=html} ``` - Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist ```{=html} ``` - Previous experience in a clinical laboratory Requirements: Excellent attention to detail ```{=html} ``` - Pleasant, professional manner which will represent the practice in a positive manner Compensation and Benefits: $20-26 depending on experience level ```{=html} ``` - Temp-to-hire ```{=html} ``` - Health insurance available with no waiting periods ```{=html} ``` - Please respond with resume Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour
