T&M Associates is currently seeking a highly motivated Supervising Engineer for our Transportation/Highway Department in any of our New Jersey offices. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in all aspects of highway and traffic design and project management and provide their expertise for the delivery of complex projects and assignments. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in transportation design looking to advance their career in project, client and staff management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10+ years of related experience managing civil/highway projects in the transportation industry. EIT required, with the ability to obtain NJ PE within 1 year. Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and familiarity with InRoads and Civil 3d software required. Experience with NJ Counties and NJDOT projects and knowledge of their design standards, procedures and requirements is required. Experience in developing project scope, budgets, proposals, and change order management. Detail oriented with a strong command of design principles and the ability to develop accurate design calculations. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication including public speaking skills are required. Experience with managing, mentoring and guiding staff a plus. Why T&M?
