Amazing Traveling Physical Therapist Opportunity - Bad Axe, MI Job Details: Title: Physical Therapist Location: Bad Axe, MI Assignment: 13 weeks / opportunity for extension About the Role: Physical therapy helps reduce pain and restore function and independence in patients who have undergone surgery, suffered an injury, are recovering from serious illness or are coping with a chronic condition. Our dedicated rehabilitation team uses a multidisciplinary approach, combining exercise and strength training with manual therapy and modalities to develop an individualized treatment plan that meets the unique needs of each patient. Treatment begins with a physician's prescription and a comprehensive evaluation by an experienced physical therapist. Therapist and patient then work on-on-one, following a specific plan of care designed to help the patient return to work and normal daily activities as quickly and safely as possible. Requirements: 1 Year of Inpatient PT experience - Required Ortho Experience - Highly Preferred Travel Experience - Highly Preferred Graduate of an accredited PTA institution - Required MI PT License - Required Health system-wide profile standards References - Must be able to provide 3 references / 2 must be professional / 1 can be non-professional A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
