People • Customers • Trust 2025 Temporary Summer/Seasonal Employment Packaging Corporation of America in Liverpool, NY is accepting applications from individuals interested in working as temporary seasonal hourly manufacturing laborers for the 2025 Summer season. Responsibilities:Perform a variety of manufacturing tasks using production equipment to ensure steady workflow.Perform minor equipment adjustments and ensure quality checks are performed before, during and upon completion.Be able to stack boxes, clean areas of the facility, or perform other general helper duties.Basic Qualifications: High School Graduate or GEDWilling to work 1st shift (7AM-3PM), 2nd shift (3PM-11PM), or 3rd shift (11PM-7AM) as assignedStrong safety background with a good attendance recordAbility to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnelWork with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.Self-motivated and driven to complete the assigned task with minimal supervisionPossess excellent communication skillsSuccessfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background checkMust be authorized to work in the US Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is a plus with an understanding that temperatures and volumes of work may varyPrior experience with performing quality inspections and documentationThis is a seasonal position, not to exceed 90 days of employment. The typical work week is 8 hours per day for a minimum of 40 hours with the potential opportunity for overtime as needed.
