BALER OPERATOR

WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR A 2ND SHIFT BALER OPERATOR AT OUR NEW OXFORD CONTAINER FACILITY RESPONSIBILITIES:     Check waste carts and loads for correct waste tag information with signatures.   Help keep a clean work environment for safety reasons.   Communicate with the Operator on Baler and Shredder performance, while exchanging information to the incoming Operator.   Document any movement and perform a checklist of baler and shredder machines prior to start up.   Communicate issues or restraints to the Supervisor.   Weigh and spray paint all good dunnage for identification and complete documentation needed for accurate accounting.   Complete the soak and pin test to get familiar with the quality processes of the corrugator.     BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:    High School Graduate or GED.   Qualified to drive a lift truck.   Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.    Stable work history.    Strong mechanical aptitude and possess problem solving skills.   Ability to work any shift including overtime and weekends, as needed.   Must be authorized to work in the U.S.     PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:      Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
