Senior Video Editor & Multimedia Designer

Description Overview:Leidos is seeking a video-focused multimedia professional who excels in conceptual problem-solving and can translate customer requirements into compelling, visually engaging video and multimedia products to support instructional and training objectives. This role is ideal for a seasoned video editor who can also contribute across the multimedia spectrum, including illustration, animation, and interactive content.Primary Responsibilities:Lead the editing and production of high-quality instructional and promotional videos, ensuring alignment with client goals and learning objectivesIncorporate motion graphics, transitions, audio elements, and visual storytelling techniques to elevate training contentCollaborate with Instructional Systems Designers to bring storyboard concepts to life through videoCreate a variety of multimedia assets including illustrations, infographics, animations, and interactive e-learning productsMaintain and apply consistent branding and visual standards using established style guidesConduct video quality assurance checks, including timing, pacing, sync, and graphic accuracyDevelop and maintain standardized video and multimedia templates for repeatable useUtilize project management tools (e.g., Jira) to track tasks, milestones, and workflowAttend regular team meetings and contribute to the creative processRequired Qualifications:Active TS/SCI with polygraphBachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience or Master's with 10+ yearsAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and PhotoshopStrong portfolio demonstrating video editing, motion graphics, and audio syncingExperience with video compression, encoding, and optimizing files for various platformsSolid understanding of traditional illustration principles such as perspective, composition, and layoutAbility to work across a range of visual styles and techniquesDesired Qualifications:Experience creating video from instructional or e-learning storyboardsAnimation and motion graphics experience           Familiarity with gamification conceptsProficiency in tools such as Adobe Captivate or Lectura3D modeling experience in Maya or equivalent toolsExperience with collaborative project tools like Jira or TrelloOriginal Posting:April 9, 2025For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
