Classification Management Officer

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Classification Management Officer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.Responsibilities include but not limited to:The Classification Management Officer provides comprehensive classification management guidance in accordance with Executive Orders, National Security Guidelines, and ICD 710: Classification Management and Control Markings SystemPerform detailed analysis and quick issue resolutionProvide classification, control marking, and dissemination principles knowledgeGenerate, track, coordinate, and respond to action items in a timely mannerConduct classification reviewsIdentify and assess sources for classification determinationsMinimum Qualifications:8 years of security experience & Bachelor's Degree in any field; OR 12 years of experience & Associates in any field; OR 5 years of experience & Master's degreeExperience with complex security classification issuesThorough understanding of Executive Order 13526 and it's implementing directiveAbility to utilize effective writing, communication and research skillsUnderstanding security policies related to the IC and customer. Preferred Qualifications:Ability to assist the government in the Integrated Security Assessment Program (ISAP)Experience working with industrial security staffsExperience working with SAP/CAP informationExperience with National Industry Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) security policy and proceduresWorking knowledge of acquisition lifecycle security requirementsClearance Requirements:Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ PolygraphPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentationsMust be able to exchange accurate information in these situationsNeeds to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
