Tier 2 System Maintainer (day staff)

Description The Multi-Domain Solutions Group at Leidos has an opening for a Senior System Maintainer supporting mission applications maintenance in Aurora, CO. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your experience to support our customer's mission.What you will do:Ensure the availability of mission processors through proactive Tier 2 SW maintenanceLead the performance of incident and problem management to resolve or escalate issuesSupport configuration management and change management activitiesSupport service transitions including migrations to cloud infrastructureLead request fulfillment activities including account management and configuration changesCoordinate with other software maintenance, operations and engineering contracts as requiredLead and ensure the documentation all work performed via ticketing systemCreate, update or enhance maintenance and operations documentationEnsure security of mission processors and IT infrastructureProvide call-in support as requiredBasic Qualifications:United States' citizen with current TS/SCI with PolygraphBachelor's Degree with at least 8 years of applicable experience or 4 additional years in lieu of degreeCurrent DoD 8570 certification applicable to the position (typically Security+)5+ years' experience performing Tier 2 software maintenance on mission critical systemsProven experience with one or more of the following technical disciplines:Current and legacy software development languages and tools (i.e. C, C++, Java, XMIDAS)Unix, Linux or Windows operating systems, including shell scriptingEnterprise management toolsEnterprise storage management and configurationDatabase management systems and tools (i.e. Oracle, MySQL)TCP/IP networking in an enterprise environmentInformation system security, including IAVA management and ICD 503 complianceExperience supporting configuration management, change management and service transitionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to work collaboratively and constructively as part of a teamMust be willing to perform call-in support as requiredPreferred Qualifications:Experience with legacy platforms (i.e. DEC VMS, Alpha)Mission operations experienceSystems engineering and integration experienceMission-specific technical knowledgeSoftware developmentITIL FrameworkOriginal Posting:April 2, 2025For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
