You are expected to handle multiple projects simultaneously and will oversee and develop other engineers.  Key Accountabilities:Leads advance New Model Bumper and Instrument Panel product feasibility from styling sketch through 1st drawing issue. Creates part data proposals, Tool (Mold) process plan specification and rough layout. Reports technical criteria to Category Technical Expert and New Model Project Leadership.Leads Manufacturing Plastic New Model Tool verification check list requirements and drawing maturation across N.A. DEBQ functions.Conceives and leads the development of New Model Plastic Tool specifications/process plan from 1st drawing to Die GO. Provide direct technical guidance and oversight to downstream customers to ensure successful design and production deliverables are met. Monitors Design Change through drawing maturation.Body Frame Plastic Tooling Technical expert across all Honda Automotive factories. Teaches expertise to Team and supports cross functionally collaboration across HDMA Business Units. Prepares and presents presentations on specific technical challenges driving value added engineering solutions.Leads complex manufacturing category problem analysis, determine root causes, recommend corrective action, and consults on SAP (Specific Action Plan) in the New Model development.Specific project leadership related to Business Plan improvement. Lead Team activity through SAP and milestone achievements. Report results to Business Unit Management.  Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical or Industrial) or equivalent related experience8+ years or equivalent of Engineering experience, expert knowledge of Equipment/Tool New Model, expert knowledge of Automotive Production facilities Problem solving analysis and breakdown to root causeExpert knowledge of Honda New Model development and ManufacturingExpert of Automotive plastic injection processesSupervisory experience.
