Construction Materials TechnicianLocation: Phoenix, AZA leading engineering and materials testing firm is hiring a Construction Materials Technician to support roadway, civil, and structural projects in the Phoenix area. This is a field-based role with hands-on testing and inspection responsibilities.What You'll Do:Perform testing on soils, asphalt, concrete, masonry, and steelMonitor construction for compliance with plans/specsPrepare clear, accurate technical reportsWork from daily dispatch schedules; shifts vary (early mornings common)Occasionally travel to other AZ offices (Tucson, Flagstaff)Must-Haves:ATTI and ACI certificationsValid driver's license & clean driving record1+ year of related experienceAbility to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all conditionsMust pass drug test (including marijuana), background check, and physicalStrong math, communication, and problem-solving skillsNice-to-Haves:Nuclear Density Gauge certificationFamiliarity with roadway/civil construction and QA/QC practicesExperience reading and interpreting construction plansPerks:Health insurance, 401(k), PTOPaid certifications with raises upon completionRelocation available for standout candidatesThis is a great opportunity to grow your skills and work on impactful projects across Arizona.
