Job Purpose: Honda Development & Manufacturing of America (HDMA) International Supply Chain Strategy & Forecasting role is responsible for Department Import & Export Forecasting Regional and Global Operations liaison activity. In the Strategy & Forecast role, you are responsible for Import/Export Forecasting, leading Import/Export Regional Operations Global Bid activity and leading Department level activity linked to Regional and Global initiatives. Acts as a liaison between International Supply Chain, NA Regional Operations and Japan Global Operations. Support to the overall Planning Unit and International Supply Chain Department will be expected. Key Accountabilities:Manage Department Forecasting pertaining to Export Long term Planning in alignment with Global Forecasting and Import/Export Part Supply Plan Creation and Issuance.Execute annual Ocean Bid activity acting as the Regional Operation Lead and ensure NA Plants are following Global Ocean Bid process leading to Ocean Carrier nominations.Lead Department activity such as Greenhouse Gas Business Plan Theme in alignment with Regional and Global initiatives, targets and direction.Support Department with Ocean Market updates, Global Seihan information sharing and other activity pertaining to Regional & Global Initiatives. Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Supply Chain (or similar) Field or 6 years relevant experience2-6 years relevant experiencePrevious experience working in SAP and Budget preferred Working Conditions:Office and warehouse environmentPeriods of domestic and possible international travelAverage 5 hours overtime a week What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
