If you have experience reading schematics, and working with your hands to fix issues, and are looking for your next career move, apply now.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Entry Level Toll Equipment Technician to join our team. This position will be full-time contract and onsite.What You'll Do: Read and interpret complex schematics, parts/wiring diagrams, and establish test proceduresFollow written and verbal instructions accuratelyUtilize tools such as volt/amp meters, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, network analyzers, and basic hand toolsRecognize electronic components and their functionsRead and interpret technical documents including wiring schematics and equipment manualsUnderstand computer network principles, computer repair, fiber optic systems, RF systems, maintenance management systems, CCTV systems, UPS maintenance, and facilities maintenanceCommunicate effectively in both oral and written formsWork safely at heights up to thirty (30) feet and lift up to fifty (50) poundsDetermine equipment malfunctions to locate the source of trouble and make repairs or adjustmentsPerform preventative maintenance and frequent inspection of equipmentTroubleshoot equipment networking issues, perform hardware installations and cable terminationsConfigure toll equipment software, network device IP configurations, and RF configurationsConduct daily site inspections of tolling equipment and associated systemsComplete maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely mannerInterpret wiring schematics for troubleshooting and replacing partsDiagnose and troubleshoot tolling equipment using various software toolsInstall, maintain, and monitor CCTV cameras and NVRsCoordinate with senior technicians for complex malfunctionsRemove, repair, and replace damaged equipmentAssist with the installation and testing of equipment at new and existing tolling sitesPerform additional duties as requiredWhat You'll Need: Required:Must possess and maintain a valid Class E Driver's LicenseAvailability for on-call work after normal working hoursKnowledge of electronic systems and componentsSkilled in the use of technical tools and software environments (Windows, Unix, Linux)Ability to read and comprehend technical and maintenance documentationExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to manage time effectively and work independently when requiredPreferred:Within one year of hire, obtain COMPTIA A+ Training or equivalent, Aerial Lift Vehicle Operation Certification, Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic Certification, and complete a 10-hour OSHA Safety CoursePotential for overnight travelPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor#LI-KW1Reasonable Accommodation StatementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 - 8111.Equal Employment Opportunity Policy StatementIt is the policy of CAI not to discriminate against any employee or applicant due to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability or being a protected veteran.
