Location: Atlanta, GA (Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport)Shift: 1st; Sunday-ThursdayThe Senior Maintenance Mechanic supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. Assists Senior Building Engineer in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as independently performing defined tasks. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc.MaintenancePerformance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other installed systems, equipment, and other components.Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.General interior maintenance - hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems and repair doors.Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directedMoves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requestedReplace lighting and ballastsClean HVAC coils, change filters and belts.Other tasks as assignedSafetyComplete Hazard Assessments as necessaryComply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduledComplies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials. AdministrativeInput and manage work order tickets in real time to client portal. Learn Nuvolo ticket systemUtilize CMO system for emergency reporting.Escalate problems or issues to Senior Building Engineer and Facilities ManagerAttend work and safety meetings as requiredOtherAny and all other duties and tasks assigned to help the office and building.Assist with maintenance of other locations in West Palm Beach and Miami.Backup to Senior Building Engineer when on PTO or out of the office.Education/trainingHigh school diploma or equivalent3rd Party CertificationYears of relevant experienceHave a minimum of 1- 3 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.Other abilitiesStrong Customer Service skillsStrong Interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated and initiative orientedAbility to prioritize tasksCertifications/Licenses/RequirementsUniversal EPA - CFC Certification preferred but not required.Dependable transportation to travel to West Palm Beach and Miami sites on occasion (mileage reimbursable).Physical work requirements and work conditionsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft ladders.Position requires frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving.Must pass background, drug/alcohol
