We're currently hiring in Ashburn, Virginia to support a district in need of a Paraprofessional for the current school year.The Special Education Teacher Assistant will assist the classroom teacher in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning classroom environment in which students may take full advantage of the instructional program and available resources.$22 - $24 per hour*Participate in the instructional program under the direction of a certified teacherWork with groups of children based on grade levelWork with children in learning centers and assist in the preparation and care of learning materialsAssist in preparing classroom displays and bulletin boardsCommunicates relevant information regarding student's behavior with parentsAssist students with feeding, diapering, or toileting and charts timeCare for classroom equipment and materials and may operate audio-visual equipmentAssist with lunch, snack, and clean-up routine and assist children with clothing management based on grade levelParticipate in In-service training programs as requiredAssist certified teacher with classroom activities as directedPrepare training aids for the classroom as requiredWork with children with special needsWe understand that students come first in schools, so we offer a range of benefits, programs, and support services to help you find the right employer fit and stay focused on caring for your students.
