The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive development and philanthropy program that aligns with the company's goals and contributes to the growth of private philanthropy. This role involves close collaboration with central fundraising staff, schools, deans, faculties, and other university units to articulate and execute fund-development plans. The AVP will also be tasked with establishing performance and promotion standards for gift officers, fostering a culture of goal achievement, and leading the process of setting ambitious annual goals. Additionally, the AVP will be involved in the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of select prospects. Applicants for the Associate Vice President of Development position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years' experience in Advancement, Donor Relations/Stewardship, with at least 5 years in a management role. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in fundraising, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment.
