The Director will also be in charge of special events, ensuring compliance with policies and by-laws, and coordinating the Foundation's efforts to support the College's mission and strategic planning. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of three years' experience in fundraising, advancement, and development. A deep understanding of the community college mission is essential, as is a commitment to a collaborative management style. The role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to plan and execute special events. The ideal candidate will be task-oriented, able to build positive relationships in the community, and engaged in the local area.
