This strategic leader will be responsible for ensuring that all financial and operational activities are in alignment with the organization's mission. Key responsibilities for the role include financial management, grants management, operations management, and foundation board management. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to the leadership team, guiding the organization's financial operations, processes, and workflows, as well as its data infrastructure and grant-making operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a CPA, CMA, or equivalent financial certification. A minimum of 8 years' experience in financial and operational leadership, particularly in the nonprofit or philanthropic sector, is required. The role demands a strong understanding of nonprofit accounting, IRS compliance, and grant management, as well as a proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans and manage budgets. Experience with operational systems and technology tools is essential, along with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
