Business/Data Analyst

Position Description: We are seeking a Senior Business & Data Analyst to play a key role in our legacy system transformation initiative. This role will focus on analyzing, mapping, and optimizing business processes and system/data flows, ensuring a smooth transition to a modernized technology landscape. The ideal candidate will have expertise in business process flow mapping, system and data flow analysis, and integration rationalization, with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and future-state solutions.This opportunity has a hybrid expectation for the selected candidate to work on-site in a client office 3 days per week in Miami, FL. Your future duties and responsibilities: Analyze and document current-state business processes, system workflows, and data flows for legacy systems. Develop future-state process and system/data flow diagrams, ensuring alignment with modernization goals. Identify redundant or inefficient integrations, rationalizing and optimizing them for the future-state architecture. Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and business units to define requirements for future-state implementation. Support data migration planning by mapping legacy data structures to new platforms. Work closely with enterprise architects, IT, and transformation teams to ensure seamless integration and business continuity. Provide insights and recommendations to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce system complexity. Document business and technical requirements to support development and implementation efforts. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: 8+ years of experience in business process analysis, system mapping, and data flow analysis, preferably in business transformation projects. Strong expertise in process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Mural) and flow diagramming techniques (BPMN). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills Experience working within an Agile environment Experience with integration rationalization and data migration strategies, preferred. Experience working with ERP, mainframe, or legacy modernization initiatives, preferred. Working knowledge of SQL, data structures, and enterprise system integrations, preferred. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
