We are seeking an Extended Day Supervisor to lead and support the extended day staff in creating a positive and engaging environment for middle and high school students. This role is responsible for guiding, mentoring, and providing professional development to ensure the team is confident and well-equipped to run effective before-school, lunch, and after-school programs. Primary Responsibilities: Lead, supervise, and mentor extended day staff, fostering a positive and supportive workplace. Actively oversee and support the team during student arrivals, lunch, and departures by coordinating logistics, ensuring smooth transitions, and assisting as needed. Develop staff schedules that optimize coverage, efficiency, supervision, and team preferences. Provide training and professional development to enhance staff skills and effectiveness. Support team members in handling challenges, offering guidance and problem-solving strategies. Oversee timesheets to ensure accuracy and timely submission. Collaborates with school leadership to support and oversee events that require student supervision. Works closely with the lunch vendor to handle refunds, address inquiries, and ensure all concerns are resolved efficiently. Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members, ensuring a smooth transition into the role. Encourage collaboration among staff to develop engaging and meaningful student activities. Maintain open and consistent communication, ensuring staff voices are heard and valued. Ensure compliance with school policies, creating a safe, organized, and structured program for both staff and students. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience working with middle and/or high school students is preferred. Proven leadership experience managing and supporting a diverse team. Strong organizational skills, including experience creating schedules. Ability to adapt to challenges with flexibility and problem-solving skills. A collaborative, energetic, and team-focused mindset. Must be able to attend meetings and events outside of regular school hours, including evenings and weekends. General Information: Reports directly to the Head of Operations. Full-time, exempt position, 12-month schedule. The full-time equivalent salary range for this position is $ 65,000 - $ 70,000. This position is regular, 12 months, full-time, and exempt.
