Staff Accountant 11700 Exit 5 Pkwy, Fishers, IN 46037, USA Req #173 Wednesday, March 26, 2025 Position Summary The Staff Accountant reports to the Corporate Controller and performs general accounting duties, prepares reconciliations and journal entries, participates in the financial close process, processes accounts receivable invoices and payments, and has a focus on cash reconciliation across each individual Crew location. Crewí¢€™s commitments to you: Competitive compensation Daily pay options available at no cost to you Paid Time Off + 6 paid holidays each year Free carwashes, naturally 😊 Incredible growth potential Tuition reimbursement Group health, dental, and vision 401K with company match Position Expectations Review daily Point of Sale deposits against actual smart safe bank deposits í¢€“ follow up with locations on discrepancies and coach to improve, involve Loss Prevention as necessary Own the accounts receivable function (invoice and receipt of payment) for specific fleet, fuel pump partners, and other one-off customers Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, research and resolve variances Prepare manual journal entries General participation in financial close process Maintain prepaid amortization schedule Use Tax filing and payment for Indiana Calculate property tax accruals, reconcile by site, and update based on updated bills and property improvements Prepare cash journal entry as part of close process Pump partner program revenue recognition, reconciliation, and quarterly report out Reconcile payments made through our customer service platform to customers Review credit card fee statements and prepare entries to record expense Timely deposit of miscellaneous Corporate checks and manual journal entry to record Complete various intercompany related activity in Intacct accounting system Assist with annual budget preparation and monthly actual-to-budget analysis review Fleet gas cards administration Perform ad hoc requests and reports Position Requirements Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance Analytically minded Attention to detail Desire to learn and improve processes Positive, optimistic attitude Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint Ability to manage time and prioritize Excellent communication skills We're really in the people business, we just happen to wash cars!
