Position Overview We are seeking a Service Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and service operations for construction equipment, turf and small to mid agriculture equipment. This supervisory-level role is responsible for managing a team of equipment technicians, ensuring timely and cost-effective repairs, and maintaining high standards of service quality and safety. The Service Manager will play a critical role in minimizing equipment downtime, improving service efficiency, and providing leadership to the service team. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Supervise, train, and support equipment technicians, ensuring service work is completed efficiently and accurately. Assign work orders, set priorities, and monitor progress on equipment repairs and maintenance. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance to technicians as needed. Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with workplace and equipment safety standards. Service Operations & Repair Management Oversee diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical issues in machinery. Ensure timely preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled servicing of tractors, loaders, and other construction/farm equipment. Manage inventory of parts and supplies, coordinating with vendors to ensure availability. Maintain accurate service records, including repairs performed, parts used, and maintenance history. Work closely with farm operations and customers to prioritize service requests and minimize equipment downtime. Process Improvement & Customer Service Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance service efficiency. Provide technical support and training to farm operators and customers on equipment use and maintenance. Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly. Budget & Compliance Management Ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed within budget constraints. Track service costs and efficiency metrics, reporting to management. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and company policies. Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of experience in agricultural equipment repair and maintenance preferred. 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a service environment. Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, electrical systems, and welding. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory standards for agricultural machinery. Strong communication skills and ability to work with technicians, farm operators, and vendors. Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment components as needed. Why Join Us?
