Position OverviewHeavy Civil shop in CT with a long history of success and healthy project backlog looking for a civil superintendent with 3+ years experience.Most of our equipment is fairly new, we have 3 master mechanics on staff, and thanks to our reputation for excellent work - we have a lot of repeat business.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and supervise construction activities on site to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.Manage and lead a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and site personnel.Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.Monitor project budgets and expenses, implementing cost control measures as necessary.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve issues.Ensure compliance with building codes, environmental regulations, and other legal requirements.Conduct problem-solving and decision-making to address challenges that arise during the construction process.Oversee earthwork and concrete operations, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of construction work.Required Qualifications3+ years civil superintendent experienceExcavation / sitework / earthwork experience Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.AgtekPlumbing Inspector License (P1) or Drain Layers licenseBenefitsMedical insuranceEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
