Assistant Controller

A growing organization located East of Cincy is expanding their leadership team and has newly created this seat!The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating on a small to mid-sized team, where everyone has to be a "team player". You will oversee a lot of the day to day Accounting responsibilities, as well as have a seat at the table for strategic financial decisions. ResponsibilitiesLead the monthly close process.Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Analyze variances in financial performance, while providing actionable insights.Assist with budgeting/forecasting efforts.Maintain strong internal controls.Assist in all inventory activities.Identify ways to improve current financial systems & tools.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field5+ years of related experienceManufacturing industry experience is ideal, but NOT requiredStrong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skillsProficient in Microsoft Office suite
