What You'll DoFinancial Management:Collaborate with school leadership to develop the annual SA budgetManage financial processes, including budgets, vendor expenses, EITC/OSTC funds, grants, donations, etc.Communicate with school families regarding financial matters, scholarships, and financial aidAssign scholarships and financial aidEnsure compliance with financial regulations and school policiesOperational Management:Oversee school business functions, including, but not limiting to administration, facilities, IT and food servicesCollaborate with school leadership to develop and implement strategic plansManage supply ordering and inventoryMaintain relationships with external vendorsAssist families with scholarship and financial aid documentationImplement health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory reviewsRegulatory Compliance and Reporting:Coordinate and conduct safety drillsEnsure compliance with the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) requirementsOversee and manage school and staff compliance with Pennsylvania Dept of Education mandated clearances, requirements, trainings, and certificationsStakeholder Communication:Serve as the primary liaison for auditors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.Facilitate communication between English and Spanish-speaking stakeholdersProfessional Development:Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about best practices in school business managementWhat You'll NeedRequired:Education:High School Diploma or equivalentExperience:2 years of work experience, preferably in education and/or business or operations managementSkills:Bilingual in English and SpanishStrong knowledge of financial accounting and experience managing operating budgetsDemonstrated management and leadership skillsStrong project and time management skills; ability to effectively backwards plan, juggle multiple priorities with great attention to detail, and deliver consistent and timely resultsTeam player with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management and relationship building skillsAbility to be calm under pressure, especially in difficult conversations with parents and staffExcellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skillsExcellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft ExcelAbility to be flexible and adapt and work collaborativelyPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functionsAbility to stand, sit, and move around the office for extended periodsAbility to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorAbility to lift 25 lbs.#LI-JE1Reasonable Accommodation StatementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 - 8111.Equal Employment Opportunity Policy StatementIt is the policy of CAI not to discriminate against any employee or applicant due to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability or being a protected veteran.
