The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support to the resident and families, work with other members of the interdisciplinary team, and ensure that residents receive the best possible treatment in a variety of settings, including long term care, sub-acute care, and memory care. This role requires strong skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to resident-centered care.ResponsibilitiesIncluding , but not limited to:Assist the Director of Activities in enhancing and supporting the residents intellectual, emotional and spiritual interests, talents, and hobbies with individual or group activities.Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of the facility.Assist in developing and planning the monthly program calendar.Assist in developing a written plan of care for each residents activity program.Participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments.Implement activity procedures as directed by the Activity Director.Assist in scheduling programs, planning parties and providing games/activities for residents.Encourage residents to participate in activities of daily living that will stimulate his/her potential, physically, mentally socially and spiritually.All other duties as assigned.SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in long-term care or other healthcare setting is a plus.Experience working with Alzheimers /Dementia patients a plus.Experience in Long Term CareMust be capable of maintaining regular attendanceGood verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to maintain confidentiality regarding employee, resident and companyproprietary informationMust have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levelsMust possess computer skills of the types and at a level necessary to accomplish the job.BenefitsPaid WeeklyHealth Insurance (Medical, Vision, Dental)Employer Sponsored Life Insurance401KVacation, Holiday and Sick PayEarly Access to PayTuition ReimbursementVarious Discount Programs (Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, Club Memberships, ect. )EAP (Employee Assistance Program)Apply now and join our family of healthcare professionals dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our residents.We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.
