Specialized Program Manager (ABA)

This position is primarily responsible for developing intervention plans, tracking and analyzing client progress, and writing progress reports. Additional duties may include direct intervention, clinical assessments, parent education and consultation, and staff training. This position is uniquely created to serve where 80% or greater of the region's funding sources permit the education and experience qualifications listed below and the VP of Clinical Services and Chief of Clinical Operations have deemed there to be a legitimate business need.Essential Job FunctionsCommunicates with Behavior Analyst to develop and implement behavior intervention plans as neededProvides clinical program management for clients on assigned caseload. This includes continuously evaluating client needs, providing parent education, and problem solving to help each client reach his or her potentialCollaborates with other professionals, paraprofessionals, and parents in order to provide an effective programCollects IOA and FOI data during session to ensure treatment integrityCoordinates client visits to observe behavior technician sessions and provide coaching and clinical supportMotivates and provides mentorship to behavior technicians to help them learn, grow professionally, and implement treatment plans effectivelyIs available to parents, clients, and staff by phone when there is an emergency or urgent needHelps ensure that clients receive the full clinical prescriptionKeeps careful record of billable hours that require a parent signatureMaintains client files and treatment logsDocuments consultation and treatment sessionsProvides assessments, progress reports, discharge reports, and treatment plans in a timely mannerAttends, plans, and may lead staff meetings, training classes, and other meetings as requiredAttends and participates in IEP meetingsProvides direct intervention to clients as neededPerforms other duties as assignedSkills and AbilitiesHas excellent written and oral communication skillsPossesses courage and resolve to achieve desired resultsHas superior organizational and time-management skillsRemains calm and professional in challenging situationsIs comfortable with change, can be flexible and adapt to situationsWelcomes learningSeeks help when needed and makes it safe for others to share when something is not knownTakes initiative and proactively communicates with othersSucceeds at training paraprofessionals, clients, and parents on clinical programsPossesses superior problem solving and decision-making skills and strong analytical skillsEducation, Licenses, and CertificationsBachelor's Degree with 12 units in ABA coursework requiredEnrolled in a Master's Program in Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Applied Behavioral Analysis, or related program is highly preferredThe Basics:  Compensation:  $28.00 - $34.00 per hourJob Type: Full TimeExperience4+ years of experience working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis2+ years of experience providing clinical program management under the supervision of a BCBA1+ year of experience working with various software solutions for data collection, programming, and report writing tasks1+ year of successfully working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, high performance environmentAdditional RequirementsReliable transportation (travel will be required)Must pass a background and reference checkEnthusiasm and professionalismMust meet funding source requirements and be willing to flex schedule accordinglyPhysical Demands/Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
