Expected salary range of $95,400 to $106,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONThe Channel Manager will report to the Manager. They will be responsible for the development and execution of sales campaigns, resource planning, and partner relationships that optimize sales effectiveness and profitability for the sales channel. The individual will cultivate strategic partnerships with our sales vendors and agents to develop a best-in-class sales experience for customers while maximizing product relationships and achieving our acquisition and renewal sales goals. In addition to managing the day-to-day sales activity with our vendor partners, the Channel Manager will also be responsible for coordinating cross functional support internally with operations, marketing, pricing, legal, regulatory, etc. They will leverage campaign metrics, reporting, as well as feedback from partners, agents, and customers to gain insights and enable data-driven decisions for continuous improvement and innovation related to product positioning, product development, marketing activity, etc. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESCall monitoring and sales script preparation as well as coaching of sales vendors and agentsDevelop, implement and refine sales playbook that provides clear direction on product positioning and value proposition for optimizing sales conversion rates and maximizing product relationships with our customers through upsell and cross sell effortsDeliver high quality enrollments and best in class customer experience. Develop, track and evaluate quality and compliance measures implementing and improving upon best practices to ensure vendor partners align with our values, ethics and compliance cultureManage and prepare all relevant channel analytics including but not limited to, CTA, cost per kWh, variable and fixed expense related to the channelProvide general support to the Channel Managers for both Residential and Commercial Telesales including but not limited to:Coordinate customer issue resolution with the customer care, the customer directly and any other functional groupTrouble shooting and reporting system issuesInvestigate Negative Margin deals for CommercialFacilitate Transfer RequestsAttend Partner Office HoursReview Partner Status report and escalate as necessaryProvide tactical sales support relative to lead lists, price matrices, price plans and sales scripts MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree or higher degree.At least 5 years experience in energy (electricity and/or natural gas) markets with emphasis in sales or sales support. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 9 years of experience needed.Self starter with a sense of urgency & proactive attitudeAbility to formulate and execute sales strategiesExcellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives at onceOutstanding communication skills and adept at speaking to customers and channel partnersThe position requires a self-motivated individual willing to take on a broad range of responsibilities and make decisions in a manner consistent with Constellation Energy valuesProficient in Microsoft suite of products (word, outlook, excel, power point) with an emphasis on ExcelAll candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with both electricity and natural gasExperience with SalesForce, Genesis, REPs, QuoteWizard
