MHS is seeking a full-time Clothing Associate II-Receiver to work in our amazing all cost-covered Clothing Center in Hershey, PA, which provides all the clothing that students enrolled at our school need. This is a unique opportunity to use one's skills with clothing to make a difference in the lives of youth. This position will perform all the tasks necessary to provide a complete wardrobe and linen/household items for MHS students. Responsibilities include: Fitting students with clothing, providing customer service, providing fulfillment services, scanning items out of inventory, name-taping clothing, and preparing & packing items for student home delivery. Receive and verify counts for all incoming merchandise receipts. Scanning barcode incoming merchandise and stock Clothing Center with new inventory. Assist in resolving billing issues, shipping errors and pricing discrepancies. Ensure the accuracy of the information logged into the receiving system. Check with vendors regarding order status. Cancel/close old orders. Purge files as needed. Enter stock and non-stock requisitions for the Clothing Center. Assist other departments with special orders as needed. Set up cycle counts and perform all aspects of the cycle count updating process. Maintain barcode system. Update, revise and delete barcodes as needed. Ability to resolve shipping errors and make recommendations to resolve the discrepancies. This is an on-site, year-round full-time position with 40 hours of scheduled work time (flex schedule). The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday, but seasonally requires flexibility based on needs during fall and spring fitting seasons which might include the ability to work evenings hours. Hourly pay rate: $23.45 and after a one-year probationary period the rate will increase. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required Prior experience working in a retail or inventory environment, preferably in a clothing setting. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively with a team. High degree of detail orientation and problem-solving skills. Able to independently prioritize and multi-task. Able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of Pre-k through 12th grade students. Sewing skills and experience desired. Proficient computer skills with Microsoft applications. Prior experience using inventory management software. Ability to resolve shipping errors and make recommendations to maintain accurate receipts in the People Soft system. Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds. Spanish fluency, a plus. Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all MHS Staff are role models for MHS Students.
