About this Position: Represent MAP as a Compliance Subject Matter Expert (SME), support and manage Regulatory Compliance within the Plant by promoting and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, through document control, auditing, tracking, reporting, education, and providing support. Responsibilities include: Regulatory Compliance PIC for the Plant. Responsible to assess, understand, communicate and reflect regulations to ensure compliance. Through regulation study, regional meeting attendance, and tracking/monitoring change points. Lead development and maintenance of model Control Plans and Inspection Standards. Create documentation and facilitate completion activity with department representatives. Support external / lead internal regulatory compliance audits. Support related pre and post activity, necessary preparation, conducting, and addressing concerns found (tracking, development and completion of countermeasures, and status reporting). Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance to requirements. Support departments as needed to clarify requirements and to develop sustainable solutions. Develop training material/requirements and lead training activity for regulation knowledge for individuals based on their role. Responsible for creation, tracking, scheduling, and training session completion Required Work Experience: 0-5 years of related experience Required Education: Bachelor's degree in quality/management related field or equivalent manufacturing/compliance experience Desired skills: Knowledge of regulations Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook) Ability to work independently as well as within a team Ability to summarize results and countermeasure activity Capable to communicate clearly to multiple levels Capable of project/problem management Ability to reach consensus through requirement sharing, conflict resolution, and escalation as needed Ability to train others Self-starter characteristics and aggressive attitude for improving quality processes Group speaking/presenting Flexibility in work hours and daily job content Additional Position Factors: Desk work in office environment within automotive factory Occasional at the spot (factory floor) observations Daily/Weekly overtime as necessary, will vary (approximately 1 hour per day) 0-10% travel for training and offsite activities (domestically and internationally) What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
