We expect you to explore new opportunities, take risks, and change the game! In your day to day, you will engage with project teammates on researching, gaining insights, problem solving around performance and manufacturing, working with consumers and creating a vast range of creative and beautiful solutions, that are also sustainable and considerate of cost. With each project, you are expected to also participate and present the work in informal and formal reviews. In addition to individual project work, the Designer II will also collaborate and engage the innovation partners and consumers.WHO YOU WILL WORK WITHAs a Senior Designer, Footwear, you will be working hand in hand with a large project team of different experts (engineers, researchers, scientists, marketing, sustainability, materials, costing, etc), collaborate within the design community (industrial designers, materials, color, graphics, computational, etc.).This role reports directly to the Senior Design Director Mens NSW Create Footwear**TO BE CONSIDERED YOU MUST SUBMIT A FOOTWEAR BASED PORTFOLIO IN A PDF FILE OR MAKE SURE YOUR WEBSITE URL IS ON THE RESUMWHAT YOU BRINGDesign Requirements:Bachelor's degree in product design or relevant design degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training 4-6 yrs experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other productsPassion for Culture, Music, Art, Sneakers, StreetwearPrevious footwear design experience preferred or experience in other fieldsStrong Photoshop, Illustrator skills,Must be able to create accurate 2D technical drawingsStrong sketching, illustration, and rendering skillsGood knowledge of manufacturing processes and materialsMust be able to generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each projectCobbling and prototyping skills are a plus3D knowledge, and AI  experience a plusTeam Requirements:Positive attitude and energyTeam playerCollaborator and works well with othersSpeaks up with courage for self and the teamOpen minded, good listener and curiousWe are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for all employees and job applicants.
