Systems Engineer

ManTech is seeking a motivated, customer-oriented Systems Engineer to support the Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager Intelligence and Cyber Operations Contract out of Stafford, VA.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Design and implement IT systems to meet business needs.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.Provide technical support for system maintenance and upgrades.Develop and maintain system documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications, and user manuals.Collaborate with development teams to integrate new technologies and tools.Ensure data integrity, system security, and disaster recovery procedures are in place.Automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.Perform regular system backups and software updates.Participate in system audits and compliance checks.Assist with user training and support.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, operations, security) to define requirements and deliver solutionsMinimum Qualifications:At least 7 years of related experience in systems engineering to include the following:Manage software packaging to include Microsoft and other platforms (Mozilla, Oracle, Apache, etc....)Working knowledge of SERVICENOW for managing incidents, service requests, and change requests.Detailed knowledge of the Windows Operating systems to include Server and WorkstationPowerShell scripting using any/all of the respective plugins related to the applicable technologies.Working knowledge of DoD STIGs related to the applicable technologies and how to implement, mitigate, and write POAM statements.Respond to, incidents, change requests, and service requests making sure to follow up with the customer to ensure completion.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fieldUSMC experience preferredKnowledge of standard DoD and Marine Corps concepts, practices, and procedures.  Familiarity with Navy/Marine Corps interoperability requirements is preferred.Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, SCCM, Networked Printers/Services,Distributed File Services, Data Protection Manager, PowerShell, Hyper V, & SolarWindsClearance Requirement: Must have an Active Top Secret/SCI clearancePhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
