Position: Assistant Store Manager Location: Margaux at Platform LA Margaux is a new kind of footwear brand rooted in friendship, collaboration, and community. Co-founders Sarah Pierson and Alexa Buckley launched Margaux in 2015, setting out to create a modern footwear wardrobe for women on the go, powered by thoughtful design and an innovative approach.What started as a handful of silhouettes has grown into a full collection, complete with beautiful, comfortable styles for everywhere life takes you. Each pair is designed in New York and handmade in Spain, and thoughtfully crafted to withstand the test of time. Position Overview Margaux is seeking an exemplary assistant store manager to join our team opening a new pop-up store at Platform in LA. The manager will work closely with the Margaux HQ team to ensure the successful launch of the new location and subsequently will be responsible for all aspects of managing the store. These responsibilities include overseeing the front and back-end daily operations, managing the store associates, and working directly with our customers to create a memorable, personalized shopping experience through exemplary customer service and a passion for the Margaux brand. The assistant manager will be an essential team member ahead of the opening, facilitating the seamless launch of the new store. This position offers a unique opportunity to join Margaux at an exciting stage of growth Responsibilities Provide an outstanding and personalized client experience by leading with exceptional service on the sales floor, greeting customers promptly and engagingly, offering expert styling advice, and showcasing comprehensive product knowledge. Contribute to business growth and achieve sales goals by proactively understanding and responding to customer needs, and promptly addressing any customer concerns that may arise. Maintain the selling floor in alignment with brand standards; ensure visual merchandising is consistently updated and assist in the implementation and management of in-store inventory strategy. Work closely with the retail team at HQ to identify opportunities to maximize store experience and implement strategies to drive business growth. Oversee all in-store events and activations. Supervise and facilitate the development of Store Associates. Pay is on an hourly basis and will be commensurate with experience, between $23 and $28/ hr Qualifications: Demonstrates passion and enthusiasm for the Margaux brand. Experience in contemporary or luxury retail; previous experience as a key holder or in a similar leadership role at a contemporary or luxury brand is strongly preferred. A proven track record in cultivating meaningful client relationships is essential. Possesses an established client book or the ability to quickly develop one, showcasing a strong network of clients and an aptitude for personalized client outreach and retention. Has a friendly and energetic personality; exhibits professionalism in all situations and is collaborative and people-focused, excelling in team environments and interpersonal interactions. Quick and efficient problem-solver with a strong understanding of business operations, and outstanding organizational and communication abilities with a sharp eye for detail. Ability to work with a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and special events.
