Production Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a well-known American cosmetics company, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team for 3rd Shift. Responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery in the Production areas.  Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Location: Blaine, MN. Pay: $25-$30hr Shift: Sun-Thurs, 11pm-7:30am What's in it for me? · Weekly Pay · Manpower Benefits · Free education · Temp to hire job What's the Job? · Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance (PM) on plant equipment and machinery. · Work directly with employees to develop efficient, effective setups, changeovers and operation of equipment. · Assist line personnel in troubleshooting mechanical issues. · Maintains, installs, operates, sets up, and tests all types of plant equipment. · Utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and understand the concept and follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures. What's Needed? · Strong English ability - understanding, reading, writing and speaking · Experience with automation applications in an industrial manufacturing setting. · High School Diploma or its equivalent; and an associate degree in a related maintenance field · Ability to stand and walk majority of an 8-hour shift · Ability to perform physical movements (push and pull 40-pounds) Are you Interested?
