Location: Boston, MA (Boston Logan International Airport)Shift: 3rd: 9:30pm-6:00am (Sunday-Thursday)We are seeking an experienced and skilled conveyor technician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various types of issues within a conveyor system in industrial and commercial settings.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems, including belts, rollers, motors, and controlsInstall new conveyor systems and components according to specifications and safety standardsTroubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in conveyor systemsConduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and perform preventive maintenanceCollaborate with other technicians and maintenance personnel to ensure efficient operation of conveyor systemsDocument all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements within account CMMS systemAdhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on conveyor systemsTrain and mentor junior technicians as neededCommunicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding system status and repair needsAll other duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certificate or associate's degree in a related field preferred3-5 years of experience working with conveyor systems and related equipmentStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systemsProficiency in using various hand and power toolsAbility to read and understand technical documents, including blueprints and wiring diagramsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesPhysical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions (standing, crouching, climbing)Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as neededValid driver's licensePreferred Skills:Experience with PLC programming and troubleshootingFamiliarity with OSHA safety standards and regulationsKnowledge of inventory management systems
